Many employees in the Horticulture Industry are very well trained and very experienced. All that they require is assessment to gain a recognised qualification, most do not see why they should have to attend a college to do this.

WAMAS has helped almost 4000 learners achieve success with NVQ levels 1 and 2 qualifications, none of these learners needed to attend a college to achieve their award. All of the assessment was carried out as the learners carried out their normal daily work.

Many of the learners considered themselves to be poor at reading and writing, however WAMAS assessors were able to choose assessment strategies that overcame what learners thought of as barriers to their achievement.
