To get an NVQ you do not have to sit an exam, you just have to show the assessor that you can do the things in the units and say why you do them in that way. If the things in the units don't happen every day at work, the assessor can ask you questions. For example the assessor wouldn't expect you to deal with a real accident, they will just ask what you would do if there was an accident.
There are other groups of optional units for:
- Level 2 NVQ in Amenity Horticulture
- Level 2 NVQ in Amenity Horticulture (Nursery)
- Level 2 NVQ in Amenity Horticulture (Sports Turf)
- Level 2 NVQ in Amenity Horticulture (Interior Landscaping)
- Level 2 NVQ in Amenity Horticulture (Cemeteries and Graveyards)
Please ask us for more details.
Our assessors want to help candidates to achieve these NVQs. They will guide you in selecting the most suitable optional units to match your job.
