NVQ levels 1 and 2 for Street Cleansing Operatives
Assessed as they do their job!!
No disruption to the service!!
We realise that candidates for these awards do not want to:
- attend a college
- take exams
- sit in a classroom being told things that they already know
- write things
- be late finishing their round
None of the almost 4000 candidates who have been successful through WAMAS did any of these things, other than those who volunteered for Basic Skills assistance.
We have developed assessment techniques that allow employees to continue working and the assessor will travel with them as they work. There is little or no disruption to the service.
